Temporary Dwelling, Everlasting Promise
Dedication

I want to dedicate this book to an extraordinary per-
son who is so close and dear to me. That person is my
cousin, Crystal Jackson-Platt, who fought hard but lost
her battle with breast cancer. However, she won the
war with Jesus Christ gaining her eternal life through her
battle with breast cancer. She kept her faith strong in Je-
sus Christ, and even when she didn’t quite feel her best,
she pressed her way to church to hear the gospel of Je-
sus Christ that strengthened her spirit and motivated her
to hold on to God’s unchanging hand.

Thank you, Crystal, for all the great times we had
together. My most incredible memories with you were
when we were in high school together. We were in the
second period with our teacher Mrs. Glover. I recall how
we used to sit with her, laugh, and talk about our ca-
reers. Thank you, Crystal, for the hard fight that you put
up. You didn’t go down easy, and you fought with ev-
erything in you. My heart is encouraged, and I reassure
myself every day that you finished your course with Jesus
and will see you in heaven soon.
