“I don’t wanna hear anything about Jesus,” the man said
as he interrupted Adriana and walked away bothered by the
question.
“Father bless him; give him a mind to know you Jesus.”
“Excuse me ma’am,” Katey said, as she approached the next
stranger. “Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure.”
“Do you know Jesus as your personal lord and savior?”
“Yes, I do sweetie, I’ve been born again now for twen-
ty-four years.”
“Wonderful,” Katey said.
“I remember when I was your age. I used to be in this very
mall witnessing, telling people about Jesus.”
“When was the last time you told someone about Jesus?”
Samaria asked.
“Oh my, it’s been a while, ”the lady said remorsefully, “I
guess I need to get back to outreaching.”
“We must never forget sheep begat sheep,” Adriana said.
“You are absolutely right,” the lady said with tears stream-
ing down her face. “You don’t know how grateful I am today
to be here standing in front of you. If there is anything that you
all need; if there is any way that I can be of assistance, don’t
hesitate to let me know,” the lady insisted as she removed her
shades.
“Mayor Bartley,’’ Katey exclaimed.
“I didn’t know that was you behind those shades,” Adri-
ana said surprisingly.
“Here is my business card with my personal contact infor-
ma- tion on it,” Mayor Bartley said with a smile.
“Thank you,” Samaria said.
“Thank you,” Mayor Bartley said.
