At that moment, the girls began to minister, and asked,

“I feel as if a heavy weight lifted off of me.”
“That’s the weight and burden of sin,” Katey said. “Listen,
there will be times when you will not feel like you’ve been born
again, but never mind the feelings.
You must be made to realize that this walk is not based on
feeling, but rather based on that faith we talked about earlier.
You are a born again believer now and all of heaven is re-
joicing and celebrating you because of the wonderful choice
you made to accept Jesus into your life as lord and as savior.
However, there are some things that you must do to stay con-
nected to the vine, which is Jesus Christ, “Katey continued.
“One thing is that you have to connect yourself to a group of
believers that are sold out for Jesus with their whole hearts.
Do you have a church home sir?” Adriana asked.
“No I do not.”
“Well, that’s okay. The believers, at Hope to the World Min-
istries, would love to have you,” Adriana said as she gave the
newborn a card containing the church’s address and phone
number.
“Secondly, you should have a word life,” Katey said.
“Meaning, you have to treat your new born-again spirit
like a real person. Just as physical bodies need nu- trients and
minerals, our reborn spirit needs the same. “The word of
God has milk, meat, nutrients, and minerals for our reborn spir-
it, Katey said. “That’s why it’s essential to read your word daily.
We have a hotline number for newborns on the back of our
card. It’s strictly for prayer, and for connection with counselors
who can help guide newborns on their new walk of faith.”
