On September 5, 2024, participants from Madoc COPE and staff went to
the Lang Pioneer Village in Keene, Ontario. While we were walking
around looking at the old village one of our staff members named
Stephanie read from a guidebook. The book told us about the old
buildings and the heritage of them. We got to see inside some of the
buildings and had a lot of fun. It was a great learning experience. Thanks
to all the staff at the village and the COPE staff for putting this visit
together for us. We enjoyed their nice souvenir and beverage shop.

I would like to put the word out there that the Lang Pioneer Village in Keene is a great experience. I hope that other people
can go there and experience the same thing we have and have a lot of historical fun.
