      STRESS BE GONE!



      How  important  is  it  to  release  any  stress  in  our  lives?    The  western  world  finally  understands  what  the  eastern
      philosophers and sages already knew…the mind, body and spirit are connected.  When one is out of balance, the others
      are affected as well.  95% of doctor visits can be connected to a stress related onset of ill health.  85% of illnesses are
      triggered by stress.  By dealing with stressors, we can greatly improve our overall physical as well as mental well being.
      We know exercise and diet are important but what about our thoughts?  Everything begins with a thought; what we
      believe about ourselves and our own self worth and abilities are mostly based on past experiences.  Whether we realize it
      or not, these memories are still stored in our subconscious mind where they are working in the background directing our
      emotions and actions.

      How we responded and reacted to these events from the past is stored there too so when anything triggers that memory
      today, we automatically react and feel as we did before.  This all happens in a fraction of a second with stressors often
      being activated. The first step in changing these responses is to take action to calm the body and mind.  Research has
      shown that 15 minutes of meditation provides the same benefits as three hours of deep sleep! It is extremely beneficial in
