Kits for Kids continue their mission of providing backpacks filled SHELBY KRAMP NEUMAN
with essential school supplies to students with need. Since 2006,
over 225,000 Kits delivered and in 2024 alone, the goal is to
distribute 20,000 Kits to students in our communities. On May
28th, after committee, I was able to join in and help fill backbacks
    with essential school supplies.
Last year we were able to deliver 5 Kits to Odessa Public School
supporting deserving youth in Hastings-Lennox and Addington.
The prior year it was Coe Hill Public School. This year Madoc
Township Public School will be the local recipients of 5 kits.

It is always a pleasure to welcome guests from our
community to the House of Commons.
On May 28th, Kelly, Emily and Peter Nayler joined in the
gallery to watch question period & see two live votes.
Afterwards, we had an opportunity to have a glimpse of
behind the scenes with a tour of the opposition lobby &
    committee rooms.
Emily is an engaged Communications & Political Science
student at the University of Ottawa. I LOVE seeing, sharing
and encouraging critical reflection on pivotal issues like
ethics and democracy, identity, political participation,
    governance and the state.
