Tyre pressure settings
Tyre pressures should not be adjusted by Driving Staff at AMS Ltd unless they have
management permission. All adjustments will be carried out by our workshop staff or our
approved external tyre fitters.
Do not inflate damaged tyres as there is a risk of explosion
Please also refer to Compressed Air Safety in this Manual for safety information on using
compressed air.
If you are given permission to inflate your tyres then please ensure the following:
• After attaching the inflation hose to the valve ensure that you are
standing to the side of the wheel being inflated to avoid any tyre
explosion debris should this occur.
• Wear your safety glasses
• Listen out for any popping from the tyre during inflation and if heard
then STOP inflating and seek help from the workshop staff as this
could be a sign that the tyre is going to fail.
