Famed Żywiec is a brand known and respected in many countries on six continents. Over the years, Famed has achieved the current
status of a leading European manufacturer of medical equipment and is currently present on the markets of several dozen countries.
We have provided medical equipment to over 100 countries in the world- for every continent and the most demanding markets.
Famed Żywiec has more than seven decades of experience in creating medical equipment, which is a combination of high quality,
reliability, and affordability. Our equipment is designed and manufactured in Poland, from the initial drawing and smallest
components to the assembly. Our mission is to make the work of health professionals easier and increase comfort for the patient
while in hospital. Innovative designs and the pursuit of reliability of Famed products directly contribute to improving the quality
of medical care for patients in Poland and worldwide.

Innovations introduced by Famed Żywiec include the use of carbon fibre in the production of operating tables. Carbon is light,
resistant to corrosion and chemicals used in hospital disinfection, and its strength precedes steel. It provides good translucency and
clarity of X-ray images. On the other hand, hospital beds produced by Famed Żywiec use antiseptic technology. The use of silver
nanoparticles in the most frequently touched parts of the bed provides bacteriostatic protection by limiting the multiplication
of bacteria, fungi or viruses. Another solution used by Famed Żywiec is mechanical-hydraulic operating table drive. It allows the
operation to be carried out even if the power sources - basic from the mains and backup from the battery - fail.

Interest in Polish medical equipment has been growing systematically for several years. In 2018-2019, Famed Żywiec provided
hospitals in Poland and around the world with over 4 thousand hospital and delivery beds. Since the beginning of the year,
the company has received orders for a total of almost 1200 beds.

What else distinguishes they from others in the medical industry? Production uniqueness. Famed Żywiec is a brand with a rich
tradition. Almost the entire process takes place in the home plant, based on the elements produced in it. Famed Żywiec can also
boast of its achievements in environmental protection. In the 8th edition of the Factory of the Year competition the company was
awarded the title "Green Factory". (the second winner was the Mercedes Benz plant in Jawor). The jury appreciated the closed-loop
management solutions, which allowed to reduce the amount of non-recyclable waste almost to zero.
