TITLE OF THE PRACTICE: CASE STUDY ANALYSIS:
            Objective of the Practice:


                •  Increase  the  effectiveness  of  the  learning  process  to  make  it  more  qualitative  and

                   efficient.

                •  To allow students with real expertise and understanding, as well as judgment to excel.
                •  Develop the ability to make an analysis of the problem and the correct conclusions.

                •  Teach to look at the situation under the prism of criticism and to question the opinion.

                •  Encourage the students to independently analyze their actions, control them and give

                   an objective assessment.



            The  Actual  Practice:  Case  studies  from  known  databases  or  sources  are  used  as  a  tool  to

            enable the students get an understanding of the various nuances. Cases are usually based on
            real situations, although for the sake of confidentiality the names of persons and institutions

            may be disguised. The students are  asked to reassess  the  cases with a  fresh perspective in
            order to gain an insight into the various aspects of handling a case from the particular subject

            point of view. The students are also encouraged to simulate case studies pertaining to different

            fields which is then assessed to gain a perceptive into the various nuances of the evidences,
            handling and solving of cases..


            Outcome:


                •  Helped students formulate their opinions and hone the decision making skills needed

                   from the forensic science perspective in relation to real life cases.
