TITLE OF THE PRACTICE:  SWAYAMPRABHA
            Objective of the Practice:


                •  Use of teaching-learning resources

                •  Make  use of the prevailing educational content

            The Actual Practice:


             SWAYAMPRABHA is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)

            to  provide  a  group  of  32  High  quality  DTH  channels  devoted  to  telecasting  of  high  quality

            educational  programmes  on  24x7  basis.  It  has  curriculum  based  content  covering  diverse
            disciplines. In order to understand the subject better and develop interest topics like History

            of firearms was shown using one of the channels from SWAYAMPRABHA to the students.


            Outcome:


            The  students  found  it  easy  to  comprehend  the  various  aspects  of  a  subject  that  cannot  be
            confined to blackboard teaching on using instructional videos as projected by the government

            initiatives.

















            TITLE OF THE PRACTICE:  INFOTAINMENT TECHNIQUES
            Objective of the Practice:


                •  Use creativity & learn  in an entertaining manner

                •  To help students improve their spellings, increase their vocabulary, learn concepts and

                   develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives.

                •  To helps students to put their knowledge of English grammar & to test and helps them
                   realize where they stand in the same.


            The Actual Practice:


            An MCQ test is conducted to test their learning. The Contest, Enact the concept, Dare to Learn ,
            Grammar Marathon and  Spell Bee are some of the activities conducted. Students participate in

            activity with great enthusiasm and were duelled through the toughest words to prove their

            mettle. An extensive list of 150 difficult words with meanings was given to the students to
            prepare.
