In science stream the students display the working models and explain the concepts to

                   other students. Working Model Exhibition is a competition where contestants present

                   their working  projects/models  that  they  have  created.  This  helps  in  developing
                   scientific temper among students.  Commerce and management students showcase the

                   business  ventures  and  some  of  these  themes  have  been  converted  to  successful

                   business ventures.


                Outcomes:


                •  Students have become entrepreneurs and have been selected to join corporates, Started
                   ventures  of  Wealth  Management and  Financial  Planning, Event  Management  and  the

                   like.

                •  It  allows  students  to  compete  in  today’s  challenging  technologies. This  helps  in
                   implementing  their  theoretical  knowledge  in  to  practical  by  conducting  a  range  of

                   experiments and also motivates students to take up major projects.























            TITLE OF THE PRACTICE: OUTBOUND LEARNING PROGRAMME (OBL)
                Objective of the Practice:


                   •  To Provide opportunity to students for experiential learning

                   •  To give  confidence and high esteem
                   •  To assist students to realize their potentials

                   •  To develop intellectual abilities and leadership qualities.

                   •  To develop presence of mind, courage & stamina

                The Actual Practice:


                   •  White-water rafting

                   •  Hill-climbing and Night-trek

                   •  Day-trek (long distance)

                   •  Cave exploration
                   •  Rock climbing and Rappelling


                 Outcome:


                •  Enable overcoming hydrophobia (fear of water) particularly in non-swimmers.
