TITLE OF THE PRACTICE: FLIPPED CLASSROOM
            Objective of the Practice:

                   • To process and reflect on concepts and increase students’ knowledge base before

coming to class to apply their learning.

                   • The ability to rewind and listen to a presentation or explanation again can help the
students make more meaningful notes or overcome language fluency difficulties.

                   • To deepen understanding through discussion with peers and problem-solving

                       activities facilitated by teachers.

            The Actual Practice:

Students are introduced to the learning material before class, with classroom time. Students

are assigned the topics and they prepare a presentation and present it before the faculty. After
getting the approval from the faculty the same is presented during the lecture hours. This

            further leads to brainstorming sessions.

            Outcome:

                   • Leads to deeper understanding and greater retention of concepts than traditional

                       lecture information transfer in class.
                   • Classes added some variety and change of pace to classes and made the course more

interesting for both students and instructor.

                   • Helped in deepen learning and develop higher-level cognitive skill
                   • Helped in engaging students in use of technology , collaborative activity, peer

                       learning and problem-based learning.
