Actual Practice:


            Identify the slow learners, prepare Question bank and to assign important questions to each

            student and faculty will further discuss scheme and solution of the important questions. The

            planning is done as follows:


                           Session I:

                       ❖  Preparing Question bank of 60 questions


                       ❖   Assigning 2 important questions to each student


                       ❖   Subject teacher will discuss scheme and solution of the   important questions


                       ❖   Student has to note down the scheme and solution of the assigned questions


                          Session II:


                       ❖   Individual system will be assigned to each student.


                       ❖   Student  will  be  asked  to  key  in  the  answers  in  accordance  with  scheme  and
                          solution


                          Session III:


                       ❖   Each  student  will  explain  the  assigned  questions  among  themselves

                          (Cooperative learning)


                       ❖   All the questions and answers are collated and distributed among themselves.


            Outcomes:


                •  Significant increase in learning capacity and academic performance was observed
                •  Improvement in Grades, thinking and analytical skills.

                •  The result of peer tutoring showed an increase in scores in subsequent tests after peer

                   learning.
                •   The slow learners also developed good metacognitive skills and learnt to communicate

                   with  the  peer  tutors,  their  teachers  and  other  students.  They  showed  a  marked

                   improvement in self-esteem



            TITLE OF THE PRACTICE: SERVICE LEARNING
                Objective of the Practice:


                •  To  gain  a  deeper  understanding  of  the  course/curricular  content,  a  broader

                   appreciation of the discipline and an enhanced sense of civic responsibility.

                •  Allows students to synthesize course material in more meaningful ways.
