II. TITLE OF THE PRACTICE: JAIN 2.0 PERFORMANCE METRICS
Goal:
There have been constant changes in the demands of the industry and adherence to the
requirements of the statutory bodies. Constant changes in the realm of higher education,
keeping in tune with the national educational reforms and the challenges brought in by ever
changing dynamics of the world necessitates to actively engage in the development and
implementation of quality benchmarks in all the key performance areas. Committed to sustain
our standards in education and cater to the ever-changing demands of the learners as well as
employers Performance Metrics
This performance metric practice has immensely helped our University during the testing
times of Covid -19 to adapt to online learning as well as evaluation.
Objectives:
● To develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of academic delivery and development of
students.
● To measure and document actual performance, determine deviations and provide
feedback for improvement
● To monitor the quality circles in the various Schools of the University and guide their
functioning for a better learning environment to the students.
● To sustain and enhance the Quality Initiatives of the University
● To achieve excellence in Quality Assurance.
Context:
Performance metrics includes the following activities:
● Timely documentation and progressive performance of academic and administrative
tasks
● Optimization and integration of contemporary methods of teaching-learning and
evaluation
● Improve the quality of academic delivery by increasing the level of clarity of the
concepts of learning and focus on their needs.
● Integration of various activities to facilitate good practices and a learning environment
