Dissect your product and list all the possible materials it needs.
And I mean really dissect it-down to the inner label or the
screws. Don't leave out a detail. When you break down the
product into all of its parts, it's much easier to know what you
need for the final product. Research those materials, just as you
did for manufacturers (online, through trade associations or
magazines, by foot , and so on).
Be sure to research the components of competitive products, as
well. For example , check out what other baby bottles are made of
if your idea is a new version of a baby bottle.
