continuous service time to the Society. Employees receive
their entire year’s vacation allotment each January 1.
Because vacation accrues on each employment year and
not each calendar year, the vacation time is placed on an
employee’s vacation bank each January 1. This includes
vacation time already earned since their employment
anniversary date the prior calendar year and vacation time
still to be earned through their employment anniversary

the calendar year to use the time in their vacation bank.
Vacation time cannot be carried over from one year to the
next. There is no pay in lieu of earned vacation time not
taken, except for separating employees.
