be available from time to time and announced to staff
through normal Society communication channels.
In addition, all current employees are eligible to re-
ceive a discount on Society Catered Events functions held
at Brookfield Zoo such as weddings, family reunions,
retirement parties, birthday parties, and more. Employees
receive a 10% discount on zoo member pricing for certain
zoo special events and 10% off the retail cost for other
personal Catered Events functions. Contact the Society’s
Catering Department or see the Society’s Policy No. 2025
for additional information.

Cultural Institutions Another benefit of working for

the Society is free admission to many other Chicago-area
cultural institutions. The Society has reciprocal agreements
with other major Chicagoland cultural attractions, which
allow you and your family to receive free admission or
parking. Contact the Human Resources Department for
