Employees, at times, may need to take a leave of absence from work for any number of reasons. The Society
considers requests for a leave on a case-by-case basis. The duration and requirements related to specific types
of leaves are outlined in more detail in the Society’s Leave of Absence policies, which can be found on the
employee intranet.

Below are some of the types of leaves available.              Child Care Leave An employee may apply for a child
