ans, the horizons have widened.
There is no defined end-point and
the journeys are perpetual. This
is one of the biggest differences in
the approaches of present times as
against the predecessors. Even the
businesses set up these days do
not want to confine themselves to
a region, segment or territory. Eve-
ryone wants to expand and aspire
of going big. From local to national
and national to international.
It is only a programme, vision
like Digital India that connects the
industrious India with the aspira-
tional India. The rural India sees it
as an enabler that brings them at
par with the urban infrastructure
and facilities. Urban India sees Dig-
ital India taking them on a global
benchmark.

DIGITAL FIRST GOVERNMENT
The incumbent dispensation led by
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has
rejuvenated sentiments and self-
confidence in the citizens of one
of the largest nations in the world.
There is an urge in citizens, espe-
cially youth to do something and
dream big. With him actively us-
ing digital platforms like Twitter for
connecting with the citizens, there
is a new kind of view of the entire
digital ecosystem from all walks of
life.
The government, which usu-
ally believed in bureaucratic set-
up where bringing in a change is
not so easy and the work culture
hasn’t seen much of innovation,
has transformed. Beyond govern-
ment, even elderlies have started
accepting digital communication as
their favourite and they do not see
it now as something beneficial to
youth only.
The government has not stopped
in exciting the people about digital
technologies only. It has led by ex-
ample and given a new level of en-
ergy to digital first concept across
the hierarchy of government.
Be it from the policy point of view
or the implementation, digital is
the first priority of the government.
