FRINGE BENEFITS
Annual leave
Only confirmed staffs are entitled to one month annual leave, which must be observed only during school holiday.
Any staff who wishes to proceed on leave during a proceeding holiday must indicate and apply for the leave at the
beginning of the term.
Note that all teaching staff are allowed to go on two weeks break immediately the school vacates except those on
leave, in which case they will be excused for the period approved. Meanwhile, all administrative staff are expected to
report to work after vacation except those on leave.
4.12. Casual Leave
All staff are entitled to a casual leave of three (3) working days in a year.
Compassionate Leave
The school for the following reasons shall grant compassionate leave with pay: death of a wife, husband, father,
mother, child or similar situation approved by the Head Teacher. Maximum of 3 days paid leave may be granted at
management discretion, except in the case of a husband’s death, in which the number of days to be given will be at
the discretion of the Head teacher. Any staff that stays beyond approved days shall have his/ her salary deducted
according to the rule in 2.8.
. Maternity Leave
Only confirmed female staff of the school shall be entitled to 60 days maternity leave with full pay. Unconfirmed staff
shall not be entitled to this privilege.
4.2. Accommodation
The school does not provide accommodation for staff but rent subsidy is provided only for confirmed staff except
those in management cadre and such subsidy shall be specified in the letter of appointment.
