Springsville International School formerly known as Learning Springs School, commenced operations on

September 15 , 2000 at 4 Pope John Paul Street, Maitama, with three Students and 3 staff. The school has
moved to its permanent location at 10, Mahatma Gandhi Street,Asokoro in 2007.
It changed ownership from the original initiator to Springs Foundation, when the latter acquired the
Premises and ongoing concern in 2009.
The intention for setting up the school was to provide qualitative education at an affordable rate, promoting
excellence in learning for every child through the collaborative efforts of students, parents and staff in a safe
nurturing and respectful environment. Thus, the overall aim is to prepare students to become motivated,
independent learners, responsible citizens with the view to making them competitive in an ever shrinking
global village.
