HAMBURGER STROGANOFF

        Ingredients
        1 small chopped onion
        1 pound fresh sliced mushrooms

        1 clove garlic minced
        1 pound ground beef
        1 cup sour cream

        2 tablespoons flour
        1 teaspoon parsley

        1 teaspoon salt
        1/4 teaspoon pepper
        1/4 cup butter

        1 can (10 ½ oz) cream of mushroom soup



        Instructions
        Sauté onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Stir in meat and brown. Stir in
        flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes and stir in the mushroom soup.

        Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat through and put in bowl and
        garnish with parsley.




        BRACCIOLE


        Ingredients
        very thin beef steaks                    Parmesan cheese
        fresh basil                              fresh parsley

        salt                                     pepper
        olive oil                                bread crumbs (optional)



        Instructions
        Amounts vary depending on amount of meat. Mix all dry ingredients together. If steak

        is not thin enough to roll, flatten with a meat pounder until thin. Take mixture and coat
        one side of the meat and roll. Put together with toothpicks and put some of the
        mixture on too. Fry in olive oil until brown. Put into tomato marinara sauce and cook

        until tender.


        This dish can have a hard boiled egg in it. This is how Ron remembers his grandmother,

        Virginia Mazzola making it when he was a child.
