How do I Enter a Leased Asset with Warranty/Maintenance Contract?
Overview
Leased assets and their associated warranty/maintenance contracts (if applicable) are linked through a
parent/child asset relationship. This allows warranty/maintenance contracts for leased assets to be identified
and terminated should a leased asset be disposed prior to the end of the warranty/maintenance contract. The
warranty/maintenance contract is assigned the Parent role and the leased asset is assigned the Child role.
