Use the Look-up icon or enter values for the Category and SpeedType Ref fields.

1. Click the Save button. The Asset ID changes from NEXT to a system assigned number.
Write down the Asset ID at the top of the page. You will need the Asset ID for the next step in creating the
warranty/maintenance parent asset.

Navigator > Asset Management > Asset Transactions > Owned Assets > Express Add

Adding a Warranty Asset to Serve as Parent of New Lease

The Asset Express Add page displays.

The warranty or maintenance agreement is not a lease, but rather an owned asset.

1. Enter the Business Unit.

2. Click the Add button.
