The 1995 Nationals had large entries of Whippets (50 on Saturday, 43 on Sunday). The
other breeds were Borzoi (1) Greyhound (1), Sloughis (7)
On May 6 the 7 Sloughis ran ungraded races as it was their first official race and none had
a wave. Unfortunately, most were fighting their muzzles and did not do well, some
finishing their race late or stopping mid-track. Rif and Chamisa would win the first
ungraded races.
On Sunday, May 7, all 7 Sloughis ran.

Rif and Chamisa earned there the first ORC points awarded to the Sloughi breed.
