        Dear Mr Weber,
My name may have become known to you through Mr Eutermoser, from whom I received
        your address.
I am a zoologist and falconer and have been working for 10 years in Saudi Arabia. There I
often had the opportunity to work with Salukis from Bedouin breeding, and since about 1973
I have been breeding on this basis myself. The source animals of the Schieferegg Saluki
breeding were either from me or were provided by me in Saudi Arabia.

On my last return in April this year I brought 4 imported animals with me. My intention was
to keep 3 of them myself as a breeding base and the fourth, a slightly damaged, but very
beautiful and affectionate young bitch, into suitable hands.

On the assumption that you would possibly be interested in this bitch or know of a suitable
place for her, we have tried to contact you several times by telephone.
As these attempts failed, I am now trying to contact you by post.

I know the Saluki as a quite versatile, intelligent and adaptable hunting dog that is calm,
affectionate and uncomplicated at home. With the Salukis bred for beauty in Europe,
largely descended from Persian bloodlines, I am not very satisfied, as you can imagine.
I am therefore very interested in developing contacts with breeders who really think about
        the Salukí.

As I am travelling to Saudi Arabia again in the near future to take up a research assignment at
a university there, I would also be in a very good position to organise the import of original
        Arabian Salukis.

Shipping adult Salukis that are already used to travelling by car is purely a question of cost.
Technically there are hardly any technical difficulties. Vaccinations and issuing
veterinary certificates are handled smoothly by the Ministry of Agriculture.
        For an individual,
