About mixing the breeds Sloughi and Saluki

Dear Sir or Madam,

Unfortunately, I feel compelled to ask the VDH Board once again to intervene in the following
matter.
I enclose copies which prove that I have been endeavouring for years to ensure pure breeding
of the Sloughi. I was prompted to take this new initiative by my participation in the
the Réunion d‘Elevage of the French Specialised Club for the Sloughí breed.
To my astonishment, there were droves of descendants of the "Sloughi" male Labaan al
Khalii, who is banned from breeding in Switzerland, only a few of these animals were

registered for the show. None of these animals corresponded to the external appearance of
the Sloughi breed.
All attempts to enter into dialogue with the "Slag" board were in vain.
(The breeder of these animals is a member of the board ). It is readily admitted that up to 50
% of the puppies have to be killed, but they refuse to even take note of the available
documents.
How can I protect the members of my organisation from unknowingly breeding with animals
of this pedigree?
In France, nobody dares to approach the SCC on this matter.
I have even been asked whether a mixture of Sloughis and Salukis is allowed!
Please help us in our endeavours to preserve an old breed.
