CERTIFICATE OF PEDIGREE
of the pure Arabian bred Saluki bitch LOOFAH AL-KHALIJ
whelped in May 1978 in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia

I first became acquainted with the male dog ‘ABU LOOFAH’ during the hunting expedition conducted
by HM King Khaled bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the winter season of 1977/78. Among the approximately 15
Salukis present, this sand-coloured male stood out both for his very powerful, well-proportioned
physique and for his extreme toughness and endurance in action. The mating of my bitch ‘SHA'ILA’
took place in the royal hunting camp and was carried out and observed by myself.

The bitch ‘SHA'ILA’ was successfully used for hunting in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Spain and France, namely
for gazelles as well as hares and foxes.
