Hunting communities between humans and dogs or wolves have also been found. The
Sloughi is genetically an “original animal”, as Marouane Meddeb from Tunisia had already
told us. In its different varieties, however, one finds the basic type of the Sloughi, or as
Raouf Ochi puts it, the Sloughi is always the Sloughi, there is no mountain type or desert
type.

In Africanis we can well understand these original dispositions and living conditions

between man and dog.
