           Hello everyone.

This time I have offerings from Crufts, the
odd photo, tales of heroism and ‘back into
the fray’, comments and suggestions from
stewards and any and everything I can find
in my recently found notebooks from the
World’s Greatest Dog Show! Who penned
that to start with, does anyone know? It
sounds like something from a circus, doesn’t
it? All we need is a ringmaster and we’ll be
           well away!

              KIM’S AMUSING MOMENTS NO. 1

It pleased me greatly to see policemen at Crufts
wearing helmets and not baseball caps. How
can you respect anyone wearing the same
headgear as a lot of hooligans? I appreciate I’m
not only old, but old fashioned with it and I like
things done a certain way, as many older people
will appreciate. Still, later on Day 1, I saw two PATOUCHE ACROPOLE aged 14 years and
more police officers (no, I wasn’t on the look out 9 months and still looking good enough to win
for them!) wearing baseball caps and expressed 2nd in Veteran dog and 1st in the Good Citizens
my opinion on their headgear. It was explained class, also winning the RDCC. Well done
that they couldn’t run in helmets whilst keeping Barkus! If we all get there again in 2021, I’ll
them on and also that they were hardened for make a point of coming to find you.
protection. One made the mistake of saying I
could hit him over the head if I wanted to and on Bill runs the very popular South Wales Ringcraft,
seeing me smile, said he’d have to arrest me if I held on Monday evenings in Pontypridd. They
did. That has kept me smiling since March! hope to start classes again from mid-September,
                                                               7 pm start.
To begin. I had the pleasure of meeting the
oldest dog in the show at Crufts with his If it wasn’t several hours drive from me, I might
person Bill Molton. Meet Brittany ‘Barkus’ aka have said I’d see some of you there!
