&Fun Dog ShowFun Dog Show

On Saturday 5th September in Wetherby,
June Hodgkins along with Phil Hodgkins
and Kelly Brocklehust planned and hosted a
fantastic furbabies dog pageant and fun dog
show in Wetherby, North Yorkshire.

This enabled doggy owners to pull out
showstopping outfits for their pooches to
parade on the red carpet and compete for
tiaras, crowns and sashes in the pageant
category and rosettes with medals were
available to be won in the dog show.

June Hodgkins (the organiser) said that it all
started in March 2019 – with their first Pageant
Show which proved to be popular, but the
venue wasn’t big enough for the number of
people that were interested. She organised
another was in December 2019 with a
Christmas theme and managed to secure a
larger venue. Unfortunately, due to the Covid
restrictions on Lockdown, the Easter Pageant
this year had to be postponed, but went
Pageant winner was Lilly Blackthorn and her
ahead after some of the restrictions were
Keeshond dressed together in a wonderful
Queen of Hearts outfit.
