4. Connecting and Disconnecting
The SupaTill should always be parked on a flat area. The following procedures relate to hook-up and
unhooking the machine:
1. Clear bystanders away from the rear area of the tractor and SupaTill when connecting tractor and
SupaTill.
2. Keep RPM of tractor low to avoid tractor “jumping” movement
3. SLOWLY reverse tractor up to the hitch point.
: Tractor MUST be equipped with a clevis hitch to prevent unit from tipping
upward while folding/unfolding operations are conducted. A safety chain must
also always be properly installed.
4. Install a drawbar pin with provisions for a mechanical retainer such as a KLIK pin and install the
retainer.
5. Install a safety chain between the tractor and the hitch.
6. Ensure safety clips are locked in position.
7. Raise jack stand.
8. Set the tractor hydraulic system to FLOAT and connect hydraulic hoses ensuring the supply and
return hoses are properly matched to their respective connectors.
9. Engage hydraulic flow controller on tractor, extend and retract wings a short distance several times
to prime the hydraulic system.
10. Fully extend wings before lowering disc frame.
11. Slowly lower disc frame to the ground pausing as weight shifts past the centreline.
12. Always lower and raise frame with wings fully extended first. Never raise of lower frame with wings
retracted.
13. When SupaTill is in the transport position (wings retracted and in stored position) ensure that
hydraulics are in the FLOAT position
5. Transport on Public Roads
All applicable government, state, regional and local laws and regulations should be understood and observed
when towing the SupaTill on public roadways. Ensure all front of tractor weights and wheel weights are
checked to attain correct balance of tractor and SupaTill before entering public roadways.
Before departing to the field (or any destination) ensure the SupaTill is in the stored into transport position
(frame raised and wings retracted to the stored position) and that all safety signs are visible and safety lights
are working properly.
