Log Off or Shutdown
When you are finished for the day, use one of these procedures to Log Out.
1. Go to Start Screen (Windows key), click on your log-on name in upper right corner. Choose Sign Out.
This will log you out of this computer so others can use it without turning it off.
If you prefer using Restart, Shutdown, or Sleep:
1. Bring up the Charms Bar. (Shortcut: Windows
key+C)
2. Click on Settings icon, then click on Power button.
Choose Restart if you want to restart the computer.
Choose Shutdown to turn off the computer.
Choose Sleep to put the computer to sleep, but not
turn it off.
