nou Systems Executive Leadership
Becky Romine, founder and CEO of nou Systems, Inc., is a native of
North Alabama and a graduate of the University of Alabama in
Huntsville. She began her technical career as an employee of Nichols
Research Corporation where she researched camouflage, concealment
and deception techniques and led the development of software
products for the Army Corp of Engineers. Subsequent to her
employment at Nichols Research, Becky was a Research Scientist in
Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Civil Engineering. In this
capacity, she worked as part of a dynamic team of professors and researchers in the Georgia Tech
CASE Center in the development of a structural engineering analysis product called GTSTRUDL.
As a mathematician and computer scientist, Becky developed software that increased the utility
and ease of use of the product and provided other technical support to GTSTRUDL Customers.
Becky also pursued graduate studies at Georgia Tech in Computer Science focusing on computer.
