Abrasive wheels
• Inspect the abrasive wheel before every use.
• Ensure the disk is appropriate for the machine
and the disk is the correct type for the material
you are cutting.
• Ensure the leads & the machine components
are in good order.
• User must have abrasive wheel training to
change the disc.

You must wear full standard PPE plus face
Ensure all guards and handles are fitted to the
machine prior to use.

Always hold the grinder with both hands – one
hand on the handle and one on the body of the
grinder away from the disc.
• Ensure the material you are working on is
secured with a vice on a workbench.
• Use equipment only as per manufacturers
guidelines and ensure hot work permit
requirements are complied with.
• Be aware of trigger times and the risk of hand
arm vibration syndrome.
