Tiika was standing by the closed bedroom door, pawing at it and barking. “I
really want to get in here” she yelled. “I know this is where those presents

went and I know there’s treats in them and I want them in my rumbly
tummy.” “No Tiika” said the Dogmother. “You need to wait till Christmas Day

when Santa Paws will bring presents to good doggies.”

“Come on, let’s go and visit the ducks.” Every dog knew this meant going down
the back for a good run around before the Dogparents went to work for the
day.
