When Balls and Bins are Interfered With

The next morning after breakfast - all the dogs trooped excitedly down the
back for playtime - after all there were a couple of new chums to join the fun.

Pippa, Elsie, and Bertie had a mad game of chasey and then Elsie noticed

Tucker was playing ball. She dashed across the grass at full pelt and got to
the ball before Tucker could get there. She triumphantly carried her prize to

the creek and dropped it in among the reeds for her favourite game of
scrabbling for the ball in the water and watching it bob along the creek with a
little help from her paw. All the dogs were fascinated about what she was

doing and many waded in to take a look and have a little paddle themselves.

Tucker wasn’t so taken, though. "Elsie, where’s my ball?" he yelled. "I don’t
know" said Elsie - "I seem to have lost it in the reeds here somewhere." "Oh

No," Tucker expostulated. "Don’t you know ball is my life?
