A couple of days later, more holidayer’s arrived. First up was pretty little
Pippa - whose very favourite thing was to run. She was a very fast runner and
none of the other dogs could catch her - though it made for a very merry
sight - watching them all chase her round the big tree. Rosie was sometimes a
stick in the mud when a big game was on and yapped loudly and insistently to
let everyone know that she did NOT
approve!
This was Pippa’s second holiday at the
farm. The time before her and Tilly a
cute little pup of 7 months old who the
Dogparents had nicknamed Flopsy had
become firm friends and chased each
other around endlessly.
Even Tilly’s big sister, Kimmie had
joined in for a little while before
sitting down to watch the littlies
use up all their puppy energy.
Later that evening when all the
dogs and people were settled
watching TV, playing or snoozing,
everyone was most surprised when the Dogmother went outside for a few
minutes and came back with Bertie and Elsie, two young black poodles who
