I simply cannot be without my ball!"
He looked worriedly up and down the
creek and even stuck his nose under
the water to see if he could see it
under there.
He was so anxious about it that he
had to go and tell the
Dogparents. "Elsie's lost my ball in
the creek," he barked loudly to them.
"Well, go and find another one,"
Dogmother said. Tucker took off on
his ball-finding mission, doing circles
of the play area until he spotted a
ball he could play with.
In the meantime, a very loud
clatter was heard from over where
Oscar the Emu lived. Dogmother
went over to investigate and
discovered Tiika had worked out
how to open the steel bin that
contained the emu food and had
her snout immersed in the pellets.
"Tiika, what are you doing?" the
Dogmother remonstrated. "Well
Dogmother, you know that if there
is any hint of food about, I simply
must have myself some of it," Tiika
resounded.
