The family went for long walks along the seashore and had a dog
pram for Shelby who was quite old and couldn’t manage the whole

walk comfortably anymore. Sometimes, Sophie would ride at the

front of the pram and stick her nose high into the wind to
better inhale all the scents on the wind.

Because the hair on the top of her head was thin, and her Mum
was worried about her getting her head sunburned, she made

her a sun-hat out of a pink and white chux superwipe. Her hat

flapped in the breeze as she rode proudly in the front of the
pusher. Dad called her Captain Ahab.
