Her Mum was very worried about her coat as it just kept falling out. She

took her for lots of vet visits and she had lots of tests and was given lots

of pills and potions and various lotions. In the end, a specialist vet said:

“Benign neglect is the best treatment for Sophie. She is not suffering or
in any pain, so I don’t think continuing to prod and poke her, run tests and

fill her full of pills that are not making any difference is the right thing
to do. Buy her a good wardrobe and be done with it!”

Sophie now has T-shirt’s for when it’s hot, so she doesn’t get
burnt and pyjamas and jumpers in lots of different colours for

when it’s cold.
