Page 26 - How Sophie Grumble Guts Got Her Name

Her family had bought a cottage by the seaside so that they could take
the dogs away on holidays. Sophie had never seen the sea (or sand)

before but after some initial fear, she decided she loved running along

the beach feeling the wind through her hair and her ears.

She had a special little ball that was just her size and she loved chasing
the ball along the beach, scooping it up and returning it to the Dogparents

for another throw. This is something I know how to do, she thought to

herself. Bailey also liked to play ball on the beach and the two of them
had a ball with their balls.
