                         َن ْ وُغَتْبَي مارَحلا َتْيَبلا َنْيِِّما ْٓ َ لَو َدِٕى َ لاَقلا  َ لَو يْدهلا  َ لَو َ

                           َ لَوۗ ا ْ وداطْصاَف مُتلَلَح اَذِاوۗ اًناوْضرو مهِّب َّ ر  ْ نِِّم لاْضَف

                                       ْ
                               ْ
                                                              ٰ
                           ِ مارَحلا ِدجْسملا نَع مُك ْ وُّدص  ْ نَا ٍم ْ وَق ُناَنَش مُكَّنمرْجَي

                                                                   ْ َ ِ
                                         ِ
                                                 ْ
                                          ْ
                                                                   ْۘ
                           ا ْ وُنواعَت  َ لَو  ۖ ى ٰ وقَّتلاو  ِّ ربلا ىَلَع ا ْ وُنواعَتو ا ْ ودَتْعَت  ْ نَا
                                                                    ُ

                                                            َ َ َ
                                     َ
                                                              ْ
                                     ْ
                                                                   ْ ْ
                                  ِباَقِعلا َ ه اللّ َّنِاۗ َ ه اللّ اوُقَّتاوۖ ناوْدُعلاو  ِ مثِلَا ىَلَع
                                                                َ
                                                      َ ِ َ
                            "Help you in the way of goodness and piety, and
                     do not help in the way that goes astray and wrong" (5:2)
                     Helping each other in the form of gotong royong is the
               main characteristic of the Minang community, therefore both
               the  poor  and  the  elderly  are  the  responsibility  of  the
               community.
               2.  Justice and Proportion
                     Furthermore, adat supports fair distribution, both in  a
               balanced and proportionate manner, in  accordance with  the
               principle of togetherness and each other's abilities, as stated by
               the customary proverb below:
                                 How come mandapek samo balabo,
                                 miss samo marugi,
                                 long samo maukua,
                                 mambilai samo laweh,
