The picture, with its simple brushstrokes, captures a

thought-provoking scene. In the picture, a child is awarded a kiss

for getting a high score on a test, while another child is being

slapped for scoring poorly.

This picture demonstrates the undue emphasis on grades in

education. In my opinion, this approach to education is not only

ineffective but also harmful. While it is important for children to

go for academic success, the use of punishment as a motivator

often leads to frustration and discouragement among students.

Instead, I believe that education should shift its focus

towards arousing interest in learning among students. This can

be achieved by providing opportunities for students to explore

their interests. By doing so, we can foster a love for learning and

enable students to develop in an all-round way.
