77 VSLA groups have been formed under the project. GALS champions from the 17 new
groups were trained from 3rd – 7th April 2023. In 2023, the VSLA groups under the project
carried out their GALS training during their usual weekly meetings to purchase shares,
grant loans and repay their loans.
58 of the groups had their share-outs from 31st July to 5th August 2023. 2 of the 17 new
groups had their share-out on 20th December 2023, and the remaining groups will have
their share-out in January 2024.
