should incorporate some strategies in curriculum that are useful in the classroom, students should
write their own poetry to improve the ability and teacher must support them (Sugandi & Husnaini,
2015).
2.6 Summary
This section reviewed literatures about challenges in teaching poetry from the Namibian
perspective in comparison with the other parts of the world. Some possible solutions to the
challenges were also discussed.
