The Court of Justice of Thailand has envisioned the delivery of justice

for a peaceful, fair and equal society under the rule of law. Effective application
of the rule of law is an important factor for a country in supporting

commercial investment and economic development, providing certainty to

business and commercial activity. Despite the vital role of the Court in the
legal process of rendering justice, it is no exaggeration to state that a piece

of judgment serves nothing without the execution especially in civil cases.

The Court of Justice therefore continues to work closely with the Legal

Execution Department of Thailand. In addition, the Memorandum of Cooperative

Agreement on Electronic Transmission of Data and Information was recently
signed bilaterally between the Office of the Judiciary and the Legal Execution

Department. Pursuant to this Agreement, we are piloting a system that enables

the execution officer to obtain the writ of execution electronically in Civil
Court, Bangkok South Civil Court and Thon Buri Civil Court, and this has

proved to significantly enhance the process of judgement enforcement.

This is an illustration that fits well with the theme of this conference, that

information technology has emerged and disrupted, creating dynamic changes

in work processes of organisations extensively.

                Ladies and Gentlemen

As mentioned, in this era of rapid change, the revolution brought

about by the widespread application of information technology will continue
to have a tremendous impact in all areas of human endeavour. Every organisation

must learn how to stay agile and adaptable in the face of technological

innovation and disruption, and the judiciary is no exception. The courts are
currently on a digital transformation journey, of which we aim to employ
