A: Excuse me sir. Would you know where I can cash traveler’s checks?
B: I suggest going to the bank.
A: Are there any banks nearby?
B: Actually, there is one. Go straight and turn left after the eighth building. You’ll fi nd the Cit-
ibank there and have your check cashed.
A: Thank you very much.
At the bank
A: Good afternoon. Welcome to Citibank. May I help you?
B: Yes please. I would like to cash my check.
A: Sure. How much amount would you like to cash, sir?
B: A hundred ($100.00) please.
A: Kindly sign the checks here.
B: Okay.
A: May I see your ID and passport sir?
B: No problem, here you are.
A: How would you like your bills sir?
B: In twenties please. Thank you.
1. Do you use your credit card when you travel abroad?
Sample answer:
It depends on how long will I stay in a certain place. If it were just for a couple of days, then I would try not to use my credit card, so that I do
not have to pay extra for the hidden fees and foreign transaction charges.
2. What are the items that you usually buy when you travel abroad?
Sample answer:
I am a certified shoe and bag addict, so definitely it is necessary for me to purchase at least one of those items. In fact, I have 50 pairs of shoes
and about 25 branded bags. Sometimes I feel guilty spending a lot for those, but I cannot control myself.
3. Do you set a spending limit when you’re on a trip?
Sample answer:
No, I don’t because I want to enjoy my trip. I am not a frequent traveler so I try to maximize my stay at a certain place.
