A: Good day gentlemen. I have here with me the brochure of our company’s top product.
B: Okay, let us see it then.

A: As you can notice, our company offers a competitive price as against the company you are
currently contracting with. It is to be noted that the competitive price we offer does not hinder
the company from producing a high quality product which is undeniably comparable to what
you are using now.
B: Thank you for bringing the brochure. No matter how I like to make a choice, my manager
and I would have to discuss this matter fi rst. Don’t you worry I’ll notify you as soon as we
come up with the decision.
B: By the way, can you give us discounts for our purchases if ever?
A: Yes, indeed. The company usually offers a fi ve percent (5%) discount for every purchase of
more than $100 and a ten percent (10%) discount for every purchase exceeding $500.
B: That would be great.
A: In addition to that sir, we can run through your operations and give you a free estimate on
how much it would cost your company.
B: Thank you very much.

No, I haven’t experienced doing a product presentation. Actually, I’m a medical doctor so my job doesn’t require me to do that.

2. What are the things that you have to remember when you’re presenting a product?

Sample answer:

First, you have to make sure that you know your product well. Second, make a hardcopy of your presentation just in case the file wouldn’t open.
The most important thing is you have to be confident while presenting.

3. What are the things you consider when purchasing a product?

Sample answer:
There are only two things that I consider when choosing a product—the price and the quality. I make sure that I get the best quality at a
reasonable price.
