Keeping in touch

A: Hi Sandra! What is up?
B: Oh, I have been so busy lately with my business. I opened a new branch.
A: Congratulations! I am happy to know that your business is doing great.
B: Thank you. Well, it is a combination of sheer luck and hard work.
A: I defi nitely agree. I am glad you never fail to keep in touch no matter how busy your schedule
is.
B: Of course! You are one of my dearest friends. I cannot afford to lose you.
A: The feeling is mutual.

1. How often do you keep in touch with your friends?

Sample answer:
I keep in touch with my friends very often. I call them at least three or four times a week, and I also e-mail them regularly. It is just sad that we
cannot meet regularly because of our busy schedule.
2. When was the last time you went out with your best friend?

Sample answer:
The last time I went out with my best friend was during my birthday. We had dinner together. It was one of my most unforgettable birthdays
because he gave me a Gucci bag. That was so thoughtful of him.

3. Do you think keeping in touch with your friends is important?

Sample answer:
Certainly! My friends play a big part in my life. They add color to it.
